FFA
Future Farmers of America is an organization that prides itself in preparing young people to be the leaders of tomorrow. It is currently one of the world’s largest youth organizations. Membership stretches from the state of Alaska to Puerto Rico and from the state of Maine to Hawaii. The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
Prerequisites
Grade Prerequisite: Open to all student 9-12
Class / Course Prerequisites: There are no courses required for participation. It is, however recommended that you are in an agriculture class. These include Fundamentals of Agriculture, Animal Science, Advanced Animal Science, Horticulture, Agricultural Business, and Supervised Agricultural Experience.

Career Development Events, Supervised Agricultural Experience, Contests, Field Trips, Leadership Activities, Fundraisers, State and National Conventions, Meetings, and much more.
Participation Requirements
Students are required to pay yearly dues of $20. Students should also plan to attend the monthly meetings, and participate in other planned events throughout the year.
Become a Member
Attend the first FFA Meeting of the year (usually in September) and pay FFA yearly dues. It is also recommended that you take agricultural classes to help prepare you for FFA and all of the activities involved.
