Health Sciences
Welcome to Health Sciences!
Inside Health Sciences, students are able to participate in variety of health sciences that prepare them for occupations in the health field. Courses include: Anatomy & Physiology I, Anatomy & Physiology II, Intro to Health Careers, Medical Terminology, and CNA Preparation. The health sciences program is a rigorous program that prepares students for college and career success. Students are required to participate in high school, college, and state tests in order to complete the course with certifications and college credits. Successful students, however, may complete as many as 23-25 college credits, all of which are transferrable to Ivy Tech or IPFW.
In addition to the traditional classroom setting, students will spend 80 hours conducting clinical experiences at Adams Memorial Hospital. Students can earn a Certified Nursing Assistant [CNA] certification at no additional cost. All together, students may save as much as entire year of college expenses by participating in the health sciences program.
